The 9060 is the new expression of the refined style and innovative design that have made the 99X series characterized by the most iconic models in New Balance's history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements from the classic 99X models, with an oblique sensibility inspired by the proudly futuristic and visibly technological aesthetic of the Y2K era. Slide bars, taken from the 990, are expanded and used throughout the upper for a visible sense of movement, while wavy lines and scaled proportions atop a sculpted midsole place an exaggerated emphasis on the familiar cushioning platforms of ABZORB and SBS.
